COUPON CARDS
Win the First Visit, Keep the Ones After
A one-time offer built for people who have never walked in. Share it through ads, flyers, or a partner's counter — and the moment it is redeemed, it turns into their loyalty card.
One Offer In, One Regular Out
Redeem the coupon the way your team would. Watch what happens next — the coupon is used up, and a loyalty card takes its place on the same phone.
They found you through an ad and installed this coupon. It works exactly once.
Link yours to any card type — stamp, points, cashback, or discount.
The Only Card Built to Win Strangers
Every other card type rewards people who already know you. A coupon card exists to get someone through the door the first time — then hand them straight to your loyalty program.
You run an ad
Facebook, Instagram, Google, a flyer, a partner’s counter. Each channel gets its own link with its own sign-up page, so you can see which one actually worked.
A stranger installs the coupon
One tap, straight into their wallet. You now have a contact you did not have this morning, and they have a reason to visit that expires.
Your team redeems it once
They show the card, you scan it, the offer is spent. There is no balance to track and nothing for anyone to argue about.
It turns into a loyalty card
Link the coupon to a stamp or reward template and the used coupon becomes their ongoing card. First visit paid for by an ad, every visit after that is yours.
A Coupon Is Not a Discount Card
They look similar on the phone and do opposite jobs. Getting this wrong is the most common mistake we see.
Built for Businesses That Need Feet Through the Door
If one good first visit tends to create a regular, a coupon card is the cheapest way to buy that first visit.
New openings
Free item on your first visit
Nobody knows you exist yet. A coupon turns your launch budget into installs you can count, and every one of them becomes a contact you keep.
Businesses running paid ads
One link per campaign
An ad that sends people to a website teaches you nothing. An ad that sends them to a coupon tells you exactly which campaign produced which walk-in.
Salons & treatment rooms
Introductory price on a first booking
People rarely switch stylist or therapist without a reason. A one-time offer is that reason, and the linked card keeps them after it.
Gyms & studios
First class free
The whole business rests on getting someone to try once. Coupons make that trial trackable, and expiry stops it drifting for months.
Partner cross-promotions
Offer shared by a neighbouring shop
Give the café next door a link to hand out. You pay only when someone actually redeems, and you can see whose customers came.
Markets & events
Scan here for a first-visit offer
A stall meets hundreds of people once. A coupon turns those passing conversations into wallet cards you can message next week.
What Should the Coupon Actually Give?
Strong enough to move a stranger, cheap enough that you can afford everyone who takes it.
Settings Most People Never Find
All of these live in the card builder, and any one of them can lift a campaign that is already running.
Linked card template
The setting that makes this card worth running. Choose which loyalty card the coupon turns into once redeemed, so acquisition hands straight over to retention.
Expiry after install
Rather than one fixed date for everyone, give each person a set number of days from the moment they install. Your deadline stays fresh no matter when the ad reached them.
Limit how many are issued
Cap the campaign at a number you can afford. It also creates real scarcity, which does more for a first-visit offer than any wording you could write.
A link per channel
Each ad, poster, or partner gets its own link, sign-up page, and image. At the end of the month you will know which one paid for itself.
Require the purchase amount
Make staff enter the bill when they redeem. Without it you know how many coupons were used, but not whether the campaign made you any money.
Feedback links
Ask for a rating after that first visit, and point the happy ones to your Google listing. A new customer’s first impression is the review most worth catching.
Four Mistakes That Cost Real Money
We would rather you read these now than learn them halfway through a campaign.
Expecting existing customers to install it
Anyone who already holds the linked loyalty card cannot install the coupon — they will see an error, and that is by design. This card is for strangers only. Point your regulars at your loyalty card and keep the two audiences separate.
Setting the expiry and hoping to change it later
The expiry rule locks the moment the card is activated. Decide it before you spend a cent on ads, and test the whole flow with a few people first — up to ten can install before activation.
Advertising a referral reward that does not exist
You can switch referrals on, but the person who shares a coupon receives nothing extra — the platform treats the coupon itself as the reward. It is a distribution channel, not a two-way bonus. Word it that way.
Running the coupon without a card to hand them to
A coupon with no linked template buys you one visit and nothing else. Build your stamp or reward card first, then point the coupon at it. Otherwise you are paying for footfall and letting it walk back out.
Launch Your First Coupon Campaign Today
Pick a template, set the offer, link it to your loyalty card. Most businesses are live in about fifteen minutes — and the trial costs nothing and needs no card.
